Maera Dog Training is a local company owned by Qualified Dog Trainer: Bobby McLachlan.
His passion for dog training began during his time working at a local dog rescue centre, working under an inspiring trainer, and has never looked back.
Whether your dog needs some Behaviour Modification Training or some Basic Obedience, Maera's Positive Reinforcement Based Training is grounded in researched and proven techniques, learned from multiple local and international trainers. Each dog has their own personality and each training method used by Maera, customises steps to suit your dogs own uniqueness. Maera strives to use the most humane and reward based training options when coaching you and your dog. No bullying and no dominance.
Maera specialises in adolescent to senior dogs and offers discounts for Rescue dogs.

Behaviour Modification Training
Bobby can come to you to help find and treat the cause of many dog behavioural issues. Even if you wish to have private obedience classes or teach your dog anything from basic assistance tricks to finding the keys: feel free to contact Maera with any of your queries.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training (through the National Dog Trainers Federation)
- During his time Studying he also has nationally recognised accreditation in: Basic Substance Detection Training (Sniffer Dogs) and Basic Assistance Dog Training.
